A Time To Be Born: Madlyn Nicole Frazier was the beloved daughter of the late Joe L. Frazier and Annie Lois Frazier was born December 6, 1983 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. A Time to Nurture: Madlyn graduated from Edisto High School in 2002. She attended Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College in 2008. She graduated from South Carolina State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Business (Child Development). She became a member of the Alpha Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated of Orangeburg in 2010. While in college, she worked at Claflin University’s Bookstore. After graduating from college, she spent some time working with the elementary students at Orangeburg District Four’s primary schools when she was able. She was known for having a soft voice and a strong spirit. When you see her, she would always have a smile and a very welcoming heart. She was the most optimistic individual known by her loved ones concerning life and you could feel her genuine loving spirit. She loved spending time with family, sorors, and friends. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. She will always have a special place in our hearts. A Time to Transition: On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, God sent his angels to transition Madlyn from labor to reward. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Joe Lewis Frazier and Annie Lois Darby Frazier, sister, Melissa D. Bonnett and brother, Melvin W. Frazier, maternal grandparents, Arthur & Pearline Darby and paternal grandparents, Willie & Emma Julia Frazier. A Time to Mourn: She leaves to cherish her long-lasting memories, a fiance’ Joshua Wolfe of the home. A special nephew, Montrell Bonnett, a special niece, Me’Kayla Bonnett of Orangeburg, SC. Two therapy dogs, Bonnie and Clyde of the home. One sister, Dr. Marlyn (William) Westbrook of Savannah, GA. Five brothers, Joe (Linda) Frazier, Patrick Frazier, Michael Darby, Maurice (Elaine Reid) Frazier, all of Orangeburg, SC and Alexander Waymyers of Denmark, SC. One aunt, Louise Oliver of Brooklyn, NY, two uncles, Ronnie Darby of Orangeburg, SC and Clarence (Ernestine)Frazier of Cordova, SC. Special Godparents, Henry Lee & Patricia Jennings of Cope, SC and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special family members and friends. Madlyn will lie in repose in the church one hour prior to her service. We ask that everyone please adhere to the COVID-19 rules and guidelines during the visitation and service.
